For its part, the activity of
the fishing sector has continued to contribute to the economic recovery of the
country. In this way, the first fishing season in the Center-North area brought
positive results, among which the export of flour and fish oil represented an estimated
of 1,200 million dollars in foreign exchange. Also, it is worth mentioning that,
during the first semester of this year, the fishing exports reached US $ 2.1 billion.
We are on the right track in
the process of economic recovery and, to maintain this trend, we must ensure a
climate of stability that allows, in turn, to capture investments. If we add the advance of
vaccination in the different regions, the various economic measures that have
been taken in the year and the expansion of other activities, we obtain a
scenario that allows us to continue working.
We know that if we join forces,
we will achieve the objectives that we set. Our organization, as part of this
sector, is committed to the well-being of our collaborators, Peruvian families
and, above all, of Peru.
