In this scenario, the fishing and agriculture sector was one of the most
dynamic (38.7%), together with construction (41.9%). This is due to the
increase in discharges and the growth of the extractive activity (both for
Direct Human Consumption and for Indirect Human Consumption) since the last
year, that are carried out following the scientific recommendations of Imarpe
and guaranteeing the care and health of the resources in the long term. The
results allow us to look more optimistically at the following periods and
continue adding efforts to continue with the reactivation process, cope with
the pandemic and address the demands that this context requires of us.
We continue to face this situation and, therefore, it is critical to
understand that it is time to join efforts from all sectors to accelerate the
economic recovery generating jobs and contributing with equipment, medicine and
necessary logistic to counteract the effects on the population’s health caused
by the pandemic.
From our organization, we reaffirm our permanent commitment to our
collaborators, Peruvian families and with Peru.
