As president and founder of Hayduk, a company with an important track record of almost 30 years, I am convinced that implementing Corporate Compliance is a fundamental requirement for any organization, large or small. Not only is it a feature of modernity and almost a requirement to be competitive in the market, but it is an even more effective way to create a stronger relationship with the environment.
Our Corporate Compliance Model
For that reason, as fishermen at heart and lovers of the sea, when we developed our own Corporate Compliance in Hayduk, we decided to go beyond what the regulations required and incorporated one of our pillars: responsibility for the environment. Thus, in addition to covering the typical contents of money laundering, corruption, and financing of terrorism, we also focus on compliance with environmental regulations.
This, of course, came hand in hand with a strong job of disseminating the program among all our collaborators, who are its main protagonists. From its implementation, we carry out permanent training, which helps us to reinforce the values expressed in our prevention policy.
This is how we became one of the first companies to incorporate this point in our Corporate Compliance, institutionalizing the rejection and denunciation of any act of contamination, bad waste management, and illegal and irresponsible fishing.
I am a witness that this culture as a company extends to all areas of our management, and I am thrilled that everyone at Hayduk is part of it. Finally, this Corporate Compliance policy is a form of transparent management, a positive attitude and an ethical commitment that leads us towards a single goal: to bring quality nutrition to Peru the world. We are in a good way!
